About
In the morning, we’ll begin with a visit to the National Railway Museum, home to one of the world’s most impressive collections of railway history. From majestic steam locomotives to sleek high-speed trains, the exhibits trace the fascinating evolution of rail travel. As you walk among these engineering marvels, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the innovations that shaped the railway era and its lasting influence on modern transportation.
Next we’ll explore the ancient city walls and York Minster, one of Europe’s largest and most magnificent Gothic cathedrals. Its breathtaking stained glass windows and exquisite stone carvings never fail to inspire awe.
For lunch, we’ll take you to a carefully selected Italian restaurant, where you can enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in a relaxed setting perfect for recharging before the afternoon’s discoveries.
After lunch, we’ll explore more of York’s historic treasures, including the narrow, cobbled lanes of the old town, each step revealing stories from centuries past.
