After lunch, we ride a historic ‘Steamer’ vessel to Lakeside. The journey offers unparalleled views of the surrounding hills and countryside, allowing you to fully appreciate the natural beauty that has captivated visitors for generations.
Next, enjoy the Lakeside to Haverthwaite Steam Train journey. The train uses 1950s-style carriages pulled by traditional steam locomotives, offering a nostalgic ride through picturesque countryside and lakeside scenery.
Stop by the Lakeland Motor Museum, home to over 30,000 exhibits that trace the development of road transport throughout the twentieth century—from cycles and motorcycles to motor cars and fascinating automobilia. Much more than just a motor museum, it features local history displays, period shopping recreations, and authentic heritage scenes.
Finally, a private vehicle will return you to the departure point, concluding a day filled with stunning scenery and rich history.
